Be kind to rodents. You never know…
The best damn squirrel movie ever - with the exception of that Post-It Notes commercial. Okay, so it's not much of a squirrel movie, but it is a warm-hearted, light-weight comic fantasy about good deeds and generosity of spirit being their own rewards. Terry Moore is adorable and the rest of the cast is fine, but they can't keep up with Jimmy Durante. This is his movie, with Jimmy doing all the things that made him beloved by two generations. The result is a thoroughly enjoyable fable that could be considered a Christmas move if you're willing to stretch the point a bit.

Sweet little movie
Really, what could be cuter than a dancing squirrel in a kilt and tam-o-shanter if you have 88 minutes to kill?
A predictable, but entertaining "Feel-Good" film with some romance thrown in.
Good picture quality, however it has low sound volume.
